Dear Coach
We would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in our Fife Coaching Experience. Our new and innovative coaching sessions are aimed towards our specialist methods. Our expert coaching staff will demonstrate, whilst provide fun for your team. Teams who join our Team Experience will have the opportunity to participate in our Soccer Football Festivals. These will allow your team the chance to play small-sided matches and to display their skills.
Young players involved with Fife Coaching Academy (FCA) and Soccer Team Experience are the most important people in our work. It is our aim to help each of you fulfil your potential, whether that be to play non-league football, 5-a-side with your friends, for the local Sunday team, the Premier league or to play in a World Cup Final. Becoming a Professional footballer is no easy task, but working together we believe that you have a realistic chance to do just that.
We offer specialist Goal keeping courses upon request.
No young player is going to succeed in football without the involvement of FCA, if they do not work very hard at becoming fully competent with the ball and then building up their strength, speed, and fitness so that they can compete at the very highest level.
Systems of play for Adults & Youth Football
Fife Coaching Academy likes to provide coaching sessions with a difference, ones that are both educational and fun.
We use SAQ techniques, including footwork drills with fast-foot ladders and also have pioneering equipment such as Viper belts, flexi-cords and sonic chutes to improve speed, agility, co-ordination and reaction.
The best coaching sessions are those that offer variation, provide challenges, and keep players on their toes – but still accept and encourage individuality.
Too much of the same demotivates both individuals and teams and has an adverse effect on performance.

Fife Coaching Academy has been running successful summer Football camps for youths, aged 3-15 years, for the past two years. FCA Summer Academy Camps are held in an around Fife & Edinburgh area and are geared towards focused and potential National Team players.
There are numerous reasons to participate in Fife Coaching Academy ' Summer Academy . What sets us apart is our commitment to teaching. Come and have a great time, refine your technique, learn new skills and concepts, and develop confidence in yourself.

Juniors 3-15 years of age.
Young players with a passion for the game need an environment that will allow them to flourish. Good habits and a strong fundamental foundation paired with playing with other competitive young players gives the FCA junior a great jump start on their playing days.
FCA offers a very successful program for keen and active young players. The juniors’ sessions last 2 hours per practice and uses scaled down FCA modern coaching techniques and practices.
A whole bunch of enthusiasm, professional coaching, and fast paced practices challenge the young player to build confidence and technique. This is a great way for the serious little player to feed his/her enthusiasm for the game!

The ability to accelerate and decelerate in all directions with speed and precision is fundamental to athletic performance. The ability to change direction without loss of balance, strength, speed or body control too characterizes the athletic excellence that sportspersons yearn to possess and spectators yearn to see. The applied sports science behind the innovative structure of the SAQ® Continuum enables the improvement of these qualities in the proportions required by a particular sport, position and individual, making it the ideal partner for anyone who wants to achieve winning performance.
SAQ International is working with Fife Coaching Academy to train and educate the coaches in order to create players that that are fully equipped to excel in the modern game.
The FCA Academy program is designed for self-motivated, determined, active, and very competitive players. The Academy works with many of the most competitive and motivated players in the province. FCA player groups start as young as 3, and FCA has training groups of players in every age group up to age 15.
Over the past Three years, the Academy has helped launch the Football careers of a few young players by helping these youngsters build confidence in their abilities.
In a positive and rewarding footballing learning environment that challenges the committed player to be better every day, we aim to expose the FCA players to the highest training standards and the most modern training techniques. Our goal is to enable players to produce "technique on demand" and to make quicker and more appropriate decisions with and without the ball. FCA sessions incorporate creative ball manipulation, patterned passing practice, realistic finishing activities, and individual technique practice. In addition, movement skills, communication skills, and physical/mental preparation are an integral part of the FCA experience.
To teach players to apply these skills, each player must be placed into practice environments that include opposition and decision making. Throughout the practice, we progressively place players into demanding situations - adding more and more opposition and realism. Players are always challenged, and by the end of each session, players are given an opportunity to combine in clever and imaginative ways while attacking and defending in small groups against other serious soccer players like themselves
Our aim with FCA is to help create young footballers that can do everything with the ball, but are also stronger, fitter and faster than anything seen before. Regardless of how many hours they train with FCA or with an Academy. Players should also work individually each day to improve. It takes many, hours of practice to be able to master something and it is vital that our young players understand this.
FCA players should look at making the absolute most out of their opportunities, working hard to get where they want to be whilst at the same time not allowing any success that they achieve to adversely alter their personality.
ACADEMY CLUB TRAINER
There are a number of ways in which development Squads can utilize the Fife Coaching Academy Club Trainer (ACT) program:
Club Coaching
Professional coaches to work with all areas of your club's development. We will provide as much support as needed to ensure that the coach is utilized to the maximum, in the number of hours available.
Team Training
The most successful youth teams all receive regular well-planned soccer training programs which follow a consistent philosophy and that develop a system of play that each player becomes familiar with. Your Fife Coaching Academy coach will provide season-long coaching needed to create a well-balanced team.
Custom created programs
In addition to team coaching, many organizations offer additional weekly sessions for specific age groups or positions. Your Fife Coaching Academy coach can devise a program of football instruction, training and game-related coaching for all ages, levels and positions.
Parent & Coaches clinics
Your Fife Coaching Academy coach can help set up a seasonal coaching program for your coaches and parents; help devise tryouts for your club and also provide your club with an analysis of your club's coach education program.
When are the Club Trainers available?
Fife Coaching Academy coaches will be available to work in the all year round. Trainer contracts can start as early as August 1st 2007 and will remain open until they wish to leave.
