celtic spread the word in north america

CELTIC in the Community has taken the message of training and playing the Celtic way across the Atlantic and it’s already proved to be a massive hit.

A summer programme of activity has been launched in 15 cities throughout the United States and Canada. Coach Bob McPhail joined Celtic for this trip. Bob stated that,”the experience to travel abroad with the current Scottish League champions and work with fellow top coaches must be every school boys dream”.  “To travel and join with the first team training and playing matches allowed me to gain valuable coaching points and to learn from coaches at the highest level”.

The facilities we coached at were first class, with all the children keen to learn soccer. Football is growing in the USA and I only hope that the sessions I delivered will keep the children wishing to learn more.

Bob coaches Celtic in the Community each Friday at KHS from 6-8pm.
